In a recent dialogue, New York City Mayor Eric Adams expressed his deep-seated conviction that the American justice system has become a political tool.

His comments came during a conversation on The Point with Marcia Kramer, where he voiced his concerns about the potential pardoning of individuals by President Biden, citing the financial and emotional toll it could take on their families.

According to The Post Millennial, Adams questioned, "What about me? What about those mothers who are placed on FBI watch lists because they were standing up for their children?" His remarks underscored the perceived imbalance in the justice system, where some individuals might receive preferential treatment due to their political affiliations or status.

When probed by Kramer about his belief in the politicization of the justice system, Adams affirmed, "Yes, I do with all my heart, but not only do I believe it, the president stated it. Donald Trump stated it." He further urged the public to examine the experiences of those who have faced repercussions for standing up for their beliefs.

Adams also touched upon the contentious issue of immigration and its impact on New York City. He expressed his concern about the city's direction regarding migrants and asylum seekers, stating, "I believed in this city, we were going in the wrong direction with the migrants and asylum seekers, and I was very clear about that after 10 trips to Washington DC." He warned New Yorkers about the long-term effects of the crisis, particularly the financial implications, with "$6.4 billion removed from our coffers."

When asked about the possibility of Trump pardoning the January 6 defendants, Adams maintained a neutral stance, saying, "I think that's the determination of the president. I believe it's imperative that we seek justice in our country." His statement underscores the importance of justice, a cornerstone of conservative values, in the face of perceived politicization.
