In a shocking incident, an illegal immigrant, previously deported from the United States an astounding 16 times, has been implicated in a fatal vehicular accident.

Ignacio Cruz-Mendoza, 47, has been apprehended and faces charges of vehicular homicide, vehicular assault, reckless driving, and operating a vehicle without a commercial driver’s license. The accident resulted in the tragic demise of 64-year-old Scott Miller, while another individual sustained severe injuries.

As reported by Gateway Pundit, Denver7 Investigates revealed that Cruz-Mendoza, the driver of a semi-truck involved in the fatal crash on US 285, was residing in the U.S. unlawfully. Less than two weeks prior to the accident, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) had ordered his removal to Mexico. Cruz-Mendoza was arrested on June 13, two days after the fatal accident on charges of vehicular assault and homicide.

At the time of the accident, Cruz-Mendoza was reportedly employed as a truck driver for an American company, Monique Trucking, LLC. Denver7 Investigates reached out to the company for a response regarding Mendoza's immigration history. According to the Colorado State Patrol's investigation, Mendoza was driving a semi-truck loaded with pipes and angle iron southbound on US 285 near Conifer on the afternoon of the accident. He allegedly veered off the road, causing the semi to roll onto its side and dump its load onto five vehicles.

In a similar case last month, Fermin Garcia-Gutierrez, a 46-year-old Mexican national, was charged with premeditated murder, weapon use while intoxicated, concealed weapon possession, drug possession, and obstruction of official business. These incidents underscore the urgent need for stricter immigration control and enforcement to safeguard American lives and uphold the rule of law.
