In a recent development in the Arizona Senate race, Kari Lake, the candidate endorsed by former President Trump, has launched a new campaign advertisement targeting her likely Democratic opponent, Congressman Ruben Gallego.

The ad, released over the weekend, delves into Gallego's personal life, particularly his contentious divorce from Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego in 2016.

The advertisement paints a vivid picture of the circumstances surrounding the divorce. "Just imagine you're nine months pregnant. Your baby's name is picked out. The nursery is ready. And then your husband leaves you, and files for divorce," the video narrates. It goes on to condemn Gallego's actions, stating, "He divorced his wife when she was nine months pregnant. And then he shacked up with a DC lobbyist and left his son fatherless," branding the move as "disgraceful."

According to sources cited by The Gateway Pundit, Gallego's departure was so abrupt that Kate Gallego's parents had to relocate overnight to Phoenix to assist with the birth of their grandchild and subsequent care. "He left [Kate Gallego] days before she gave birth. It was so bad that her parents had to relocate overnight to help her give birth and take care of the baby. They moved hundreds of miles to Phoenix to help her," the sources revealed.

The Daily Caller reports that Gallego's current wife, Sydney Barron, is a lobbyist for the National Association of Realtors. The Washington Free Beacon has reported that Gallego has supported bills advocated by his wife.

The video concludes with a damning statement, "Ruben Gallego is already a deadbeat dad. Arizona doesn't need a deadbeat senator." The ad draws parallels between Gallego's personal life and his stance on abortion, suggesting that his support for late-term abortion mirrors his abandonment of his pregnant wife.

The release of this ad comes at a time when Lake is facing criticism from Gallego and left-leaning media outlets for her stance on abortion.

Gallego has labeled her views as extreme, aligning with a nationwide total ban on abortion.

Lake, however, has clarified her position, stating that she aligns with former President Trump's policy on abortion. She believes that individual states should have the autonomy to set their abortion policies. She describes life as "priceless" and views motherhood as "the greatest blessing any woman can ever experience."
