Remember when Joe Biden bragged about getting strict with a Ukrainian official investigating Burisma and threatening to withhold $1 billion in loans to Ukraine?

According to The Gateway Pundit, Viktor Shokin, a prosecutor in an investigation into Burisma, met with then-Vice President Biden, telling him, "You have no authority. You're not the President." "Call him," replied Biden, implicating then-President Barrack Obama. Biden then intimated Shokin.

Earlier emails suggested Hunter Biden's involvement in shutting down any investigations into Nikolay Zlochevsky.

An email from former Clinton administration senior advisor Sally Painter, co-founder of Blue Star Strategies, offered Hunter a Truman National Security Project board member position. Painter shared, "Truman Fellows have become a big deal with many in the Obama administration."

A month later, Painter sent another email informing Hunter that he should expect an offer from the board within three weeks. In late 2015, an email referred to a meeting with Vadym Pozharskyi, known, according to a 2020 New York Post article, as the "fixer" for shady oligarchs. Pozharskyi inquired how Hunter could use his influence to send a message regarding ongoing investigations into Burisma and its leader.

A week later, Archer forwarded an email with the subject line: Revised Burisma Proposal, Contract, and Invoice. The responses to that email were telling and suggested a "pay-for-play" operation just before then-Vice President Biden's infamous trip to meet with Ukrainian prosecutor Shokin.

The Gateway Pundit reported that in just a few days, an email response from Pozharskyi read, "Thank you for the docs provided. I have analyzed them most carefully and come up with the following observations: the first thing is that the suggested scope of work [is] largely lacking concrete, tangible results that we set out to achieve in the first place, mostly focusing on the process. Also, it doesn't offer any names of top U.S. officials here in Ukraine (for instance, U.S. Ambassador) or Ukrainian officials (the President of Ukraine, chief of staff, Prosecutor General) as key targets for improving Nicolay's case and his situation in Ukraine." Pozharskyi's reference to Nicolay is Burisma Holdings' owner, Mykola Zlochevsky.

Further into the email, Pozharskyi urges proceeding immediately, providing all involved understand the "true purpose" of Blue Star Strategies. After noting a list of deliverables and using great caution, he sets out a scope of work, including meetings with top officials.

Within 9 minutes, Schwerin agrees with Archer emailing the group with a message directed at Hunter that he should "deliver that message." Then, in December 2015, Sean Keeley of Blue Star Strategies emailed Archer, Schwerin, and Hunter, among other Rosemont email addresses. Attached to the email was a memo of minutes taken in a White House conference call that provided upcoming details of Joe Biden's trip to Ukraine.

After his firing, Shokin's successor, Yuriy Lutsenko, closed the Burisma investigation.
