A cardiologist out of Colorado has been accused of sexually assaulting at least ten women he met on the dating app Hinge.

CBS News Colorado reports that Dr. Stephen Matthews, 35, was charged in March with three felony counts of sexual assault and the alleged rape of a woman he met on Hinge.

Matthews was also charged with sexual assault with no consent, sexual assault on a helpless victim, and sexual assault on an incapable victim on March 22.

The doctor told investigators that he and the woman had consensual sex. However, they said they did not consent and could not remember anything after being given a drink. He appeared for a preliminary hearing on Monday when police showed up and handcuffed him outside the courtroom, speaking with his family. He was taken to jail and faced an additional 13 felony charges on top of those that he already faced.

In January, Matthews faced a charge in which he said that he and the accuser met for mimosas and that she agreed to come back to his home with him. He stated that it was just a nearby walk away. She told investigators that the two played “Jenga” and hung out in his hot tub. Then, she said that she started to feel ill.
