If DeSantis does throw his hat in the presidential ring, he’ll face off against former President Donald Trump for the Republican nomination in 2024.
According to the Post Millennial, Four Seasons resort, located in Palm Beach, FL, is the location of the three-day event. It will be held just after Trump’s fundraiser at his Mar-a-Lago resort which is scheduled for Thursday. Only two candidates have declared to run for the Republican ticket: Trump and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley.
Until and unless DeSantis officially declares, the rumors will likely continue to fly. He was seen in several locations recently, including Chicago, New York, and Philadelphia, where he spoke about criminal justice matters with law enforcement personnel. Early next month, DeSantis will headline Republican fundraisers in several states, including Texas, California, and Alabama.

If the Republican Florida Governor officially declares he’s running for President, it should come as no surprise. In his gubernatorial role, DeSantis has made a name for himself as a solid conservative contender who may give the other Republican candidates a run for their money.

While it’s too early to know who the front-runner will be on the Republican side, DeSantis appears to have a solid chance to pull it off. In preparing for his upcoming three-day event, close sources told Reuters that, in recent months, he has been friendly with the donors and social media influencers who will be honored as guests at the event.
The Post Millennial suggested that his event scheduling may indicate he is gearing up to make an official declaration to run for President.
