In December 2022, record numbers of unauthorized migrants from Cuba, Nicaragua, Haiti, and Venezuela crossed the United States’ southern border.

Early 2023 shows those numbers have dropped dramatically, according to border agents. The Biden Administration says there’s been approximately a 97% decline.

The number of migrants from those four countries went from 3,367 daily in December to 115 on Tuesday. RollCall.com reported that Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said, “These expanded border enforcement measures are working.”

What seems to be “working” is the way Mayorkas, President Joe Biden’s border chief, is smuggling job-seeking migrants through a hidden parole pathway, the New York Times reported.

According to Breitbart, before January 12, the process was open to migrants recommended by a government-approved nonprofit. The nonprofit would apply on the migrant’s behalf. Using this pathway, more than 109,000 migrants came across the border from May to December. These were not included in the calculation of illegal immigrants Mayorkas welcomed in 2022, which numbered 1.3 million.

The New York Times said 20,000 migrants per month are now imported using Mayorka’s parole pathway. Despite the 1986 ban on hiring illegal workers for corporate jobs, the Biden administration’s pathway delivers 240,000 migrants annually.

With an additional 360,000 Haitian, Cuban, Nicaraguan, and Venezuelan migrants imported each year on the pathway, which officials recently authorized, the two streams would equal 600,000 extra each year. That’s one working migrant for every seven newly working Americans every year.

Mayorka’s continuing influx of migrants only exacerbates the border crisis. He allowed 2 million into the country in 2022, with 600,000 labeled as “gotaways.” The “gotaways” were promised if they did not commit felonies, they would not be deported.

Breitbart reported the sad truth. That the influx of about 4 million migrants in 2022 pushed many Americans, especially older and less healthy people, out of their jobs by forcing down wages and reducing high-tech as an investment in the workplace. Without salaries, some Americans lost their homes.

A study by Johnathan Rothwell, the top economist at Gallup, in January 2023 showed “Young men and middle-aged American men are less likely to be working now than at any time in U.S. history.”

Rothwell said, “The official labor force participation rate for prime-aged men fell from 97.1% in 1960 to 88.6% in 2022.”

According to Breitbart, a poll commissioned by National Public Radio (NPR) showed that 54% of Americans, including Democrats, Republicans, and Independents, believe the Biden Administration “Is allowing a southern border invasion,” according to Breitbart.
