A Google executive has been terminated. According to him, it’s because he refused the advances from his female boss, who was getting a little too grabby at a company party.

Tiffany Miller allegedly told him that she knew he liked Asian women, and she happened to be Asian. The advances didn’t stop there.

NY Post reports, “Miller, director of Google’s programmatic media, rubbed Olohan’s abs, complimented his physique, and told him her marriage lacked “spice,” according to court papers.”

Ryan Olohan, 48, attended a company gathering at Fig & Olive on West 13th Street. This came shortly after Olohan received a promotion. He was then the managing director of food, drinks, and restaurants, meaning he was part of a new management team. Tiffany Miller was on that management team at Google’s Manhattan offices.

Most of his coworkers blew off the incident. According to NY Post, “While Olohan, a married father of seven, said he was initially uncomfortable bringing up the incident because many of his colleagues were drunk, his coworkers later chalked up the behavior to “Tiffany being Tiffany,” court papers say.”

According to the NY Post, the company admitted that if it were a complaint from a female, it would have already escalated. However, despite coworkers minimizing the sexual harassment, Ologan filed a complaint with the human resources department. After a week, nothing was done.

Despite the human resources department not escalating the complaint, Tiffany Miller found out about the complaint. Olohan says that Miller began to criticize him, whereas she previously did not. He stated that she filed a complaint against him for microaggression, even though the complaint does not say what he did wrong.

The harassment continued after that. Miller reportedly berated him at another get-together hosted by the tech giant in December 2021. Then, it happened again in April 2022 at a company event. She allegedly mocked him when he arrived.

Olohan was told to fire a man on his team to make room for more women on the team, according to Olohan. However, the next month, Google fired him, ending his 16-year-long employment at the company. According to Olohan, Google claims that he’s not inclusive.
