Undoubtedly, the liberal leaders running New York City are playing favorites regarding the city’s security and safety.

Innocent people fall victim to criminals because the city leaders are more sympathetic to crime lords than the people who vote.

Fox News reported that “Joey Borgen, an accountant on the Upper East Side, was wearing a yarmulke while on his way to a rally in support of Israel when tensions were flaring with Palestine in May 2021 when a gang of men surrounded him near Times Square. Waseem Awawdeh was seen on surveillance video using a metal crutch to beat Borgen, who was also punched, kicked, knocked to the ground and doused with pepper spray, according to the criminal complaint. NYPD officers broke up the attack, and Awawdeh was arrested nearby.”

The attack on the Jewish man was terrible and should have never happened in America. But terrorist liberals supporting the Palestinian people found him and beat him to a pulp to display their hatred for the Jewish nation.

But the tragedy does not stop with the beating. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg thought that he would join sides with the terrorist and offer him a plea deal of only six months in prison. He was found telling people in jail that he would do it again if he could. Awawdeh does not care about people that are not of the same culture as himself.

Nassau County Executive Bruce A. Blakeman is urging the plea deal to be rejected. Fox News quoted Blakeman as stating, “Alvin Bragg is sending the wrong message to anyone that would commit a hate crime. What he needs to do is understand that if he lets this guy off easy, then in that circumstance, it’s going to embolden others to do the same thing.”

The message being sent to all the people is that beatings are just fine because the sentence is light. Criminals will not be detoured from committing other violent acts unless the punishment is more severe than a few months in prison.
