Schwab’s words were not the only ones to reach the ears of the corporate elite. U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres warned those at the forum that fossil fuel production will ultimately kill humanity. And yet he flew to the forum on a jet using fossil-fueled planes.

Guterres said, “We are in the worst situation of my lifetime. Across the spectrum of global challenges, we need private sector resourcefulness and cooperation to advance peace, sustainable development, and human rights.”
The little socialist demands that corporate leaders do more to stop using fossil fuels to power their businesses. He maintains that anyone who continues to use those energy sources proves just how crazy they are. And yet he proved that he is just as crazy because he continues to use vehicles powered by the very fuels he wants to eliminate from the world. Their duplicity is self-serving and hypocritical at best.
