Seattle, Washington, has turned into a criminal’s paradise.

The city leaders decided that they would cut the police budget in an attempt to appease the minority. But now that crime is out of control, business owners have to deal with the onslaught of crime damaging their businesses.

The Daily Caller reported that “Seattle and broader King County had more than 13,000 homeless people within its boundaries in 2022, more than every other similar area except Los Angeles County and New York City, according to the Department of Housing and Urban Development, while the Seattle Police Department (SPD) lost more than 130 officers, KOMO News reported, as homicides, shootings and motor vehicle thefts increased.”

The number of homeless people outnumbers police officers. Law enforcement cannot keep up with the crime occurring around the city.

Rohan Joseph is a frustrated business owner that’s finally had enough of crime and open drug use around his business. He stated, “I’ll call 9-1-1 often. Rarely do they come down anytime soon enough for it to matter.”

He has seen people taking drugs right outside of his place of business. And with those actions, people are less likely to want to shop in their place of business.

The owner also stated, “But it was like, they couldn’t do anything but be like, ‘Hey guys, can you please move on,’ I don’t want them to be arrested per se, but by all means, take the drugs from them, make it harder for them to continue this activity. Right? Inhibit the ability to just open-air deal.”

Liberals hate law enforcement and are willing to tolerate high crime rates. And the only time they will ever take action against crime is when it shows up on their doorstep, threatening their way of life. Until then, business owners like Rohan Joseph will have to deal with the high crime and massive numbers of people doing drugs on their doorstep.
