So far, Beckham has not suffered any consequences for his misbehavior. His lawyer claimed that he had fallen asleep and the flight attendant who woke him up had blown things out of proportion. Nevertheless, his meltdown caused the flight to be delayed an hour and a half.

TMZ reports that Beckham is unrepentant about the incident. In several tweets, he laid into his detractors. He tweeted, “Can’t address everything in this world, it’s exhausting,” Beckham wrote. “Errbody got an opinion on situations they weren’t involved in. All u can do is kno who u truly are. Purell only kills 99.9% of germs… there’s always gon be a lil left over.”
