Many people have refused to take the shot, citing religious reasons, worries about side effects, and doubts about the vaccine’s efficacy. These refusals have gotten people in trouble because of mandates to take the shot on the pain of being terminated from their jobs or being separated from the military.
According to the Daily Wire, Gov. Ron DeSantis has impaneled a grand jury to investigate the vaccine manufacturers. The Florida Supreme Court has approved the creation of that grant jury, and the investigation will now proceed for a year,
Why is DeSantis going after the drug companies? He stated it was because “It is against the law to mislead and to misrepresent, particularly when you’re talking about the efficacy of a drug.”

The government and the drug companies originally sold the Coronavirus vaccines as a way to not only keep people from catching the disease but also from spreading it.

The vaccines would be a way to stop the pandemic cold and, in short order, end it. The perception that the Coronavirus vaccines would contain the virus led to mandates that healthcare workers, military members, and ordinary citizens take the shot.

The real-world efficacy of the vaccines has subsequently fallen short of initial claims. However, they do lessen the effects of the disease, making it less likely that someone infected has to go to the hospital or die as a result of the infection. Nevertheless, DeSantis has found something fishy in the difference between the initial claims and what eventually came to be how the vaccines worked.

In other words, DeSantis suggested that the government and drug companies knew the actual effects of the vaccine and covered it up.
A spokesperson for Pfizer defended the vaccines. “Over the course of this deadly pandemic, mRNA vaccines have saved hundreds of thousands of lives, tens of billions of dollars in health care costs, and enabled people worldwide to go about their lives more freely. As of November 27th, 2022, we have delivered 4.3 billion vaccines to 181 countries and territories in every region of the world.”
