A Hollywood Winner: Tim Allen's New 'Santa Clause' Series Is Hitting These High Notes

According to the Washington Examiner, the Santa Clause television show starring Tim Allen on Disney + generates 16 times more demand than the average show on the platform.

The series was released on November 16th on Disney + and continues the 1994 classic Santa Clause movie in which Tim Allen also starred. Many longtime fans are overjoyed to see it return to a screen nearby. Then, there are new audiences that have never seen the movie before who are also happy to see that this movie has so much popularity to it.

Parrot Analytics studied the series' popularity against other shows on streaming platforms. They discovered that this show is getting 16.23 times the demand other shows on the platforms are getting.

The Santa Clause series generated the eighth most demand for an original series on the Disney + platform in November and December. According to the Washington Examiner, the others in the top ten spots were all Star Wars movies or Marvel films.

The final episode of this new show was released last week, and now fans are clamoring for even more. They seem to want more and more of it, no matter what.

Along with generating its popularity, the show has increased demand for the original Santa Clause movies. All three of those movies have seen an increase of 165.4% between December 6th and December 12th.

Tim Allen admits that it took him some time to get used to the streaming format of creating media, but he is settling into how this will work and has taken to it well.

Allen says he is proud of his work on this series because it has done so much to honor the Christmas holiday and bring joy to a larger audience than those who might have been able to enjoy it otherwise.

Many people are looking forward to evening more seasons of this show moving forward with Disney +, and the company will likely want to capitalize on the success that it has found with this series. Some people may want to watch Christmas movies that remind them of what the Christmas season is truly all about. It is something that the company should focus on more going forward.
