The Washington Free Beacon reports that there is $3.6 million set aside for a hiking trail named after Michelle Obama and at least $200 million for gender equality training. However, one piece of the legislation might be worthwhile.
We can all get behind the fact that the bill will stop the government from sponsoring crack pipes.
On page 3,128 of the bill is a provision that will bar the federal government from purchasing crack pipes for the public. The language of the bill reads that the government will be banned from: "purchasing, procuring, or distributing pipes or cylindrical objects intended to be used to smoke or inhale illegal scheduled substances."

The provision is based on a law introduced by Sen. Marco Rubio (R., Fla.) earlier this year. After all, the Biden Administration had planned to spend $30 million to fund federal grants for organizations that purchase crack pipes and kits.

Rubio said the following about the bill he first introduced: "Most people would agree their tax dollars shouldn't pay for crack pipes. Sending drug paraphernalia to addicts is not the answer. It's just common sense. Thankfully, my CRACK Act is buried in this 4,155-page spending bill,"

He told the Washington Free Beacon: "It will now be against the law to use taxpayer dollars to purchase, procure, or distribute pipes or cylindrical objects intended to be used to smoke or inhale illegal drugs. It's good policy, and I expect it to become a new annual rider included in every appropriations bill moving forward."
It seems like virtually every American can get behind this, and it is wild to many that this was not already established in law.
