On Friday, in the White House press room, Jean-Pierre said, “And it is one of the most–the most historic investment to fight climate change. As we are talking about extreme weather, I’ve gotten multiple questions on Puerto Rico and what the people–people of Puerto Rico, our brothers and sisters, are going through; what may happen in this hurricane season.”
She continued, “a lot of that is–is going to be helped by the work that this President has done– Bipartisan Infrastructure Law; again, the Inflation Reduction Act.”
HotAir’s David Strom reported the worst recorded hurricanes happened “before CO2 started skyrocketing.” He notes that “these things happen in cycles” and are not subject to political legislation. Strom said of politicians on the left, “They often make extravagant claims about how renaming something will change it fundamentally or that passing a law will suddenly prevent bad things from happening.”

With the 2022 mid-term elections just around the corner, a New York Times/Siena College poll discovered that only 1% of people registered to vote to consider climate change a “top priority.”

As RedState reports more Americans are “pulling the plug on climate change hysteria,” Biden views it as more threatening, as he said, “Everybody has an obligation to help…it’s not like it’s beyond our control. The weather may be out of our control for now, but it is not beyond our control.” Wait, what? Does the president think we have the power to legislate the weather?

Strom reported, “Climate change is their longer-term COVID-type emergency through which they are seizing power over literally every aspect of the economy and our lives.”
Jean-Pierre has her hands full with representing Biden and his administration. The “circle-back” Jen Psaki must be thinking, “There but for the grace of God go I.”
According to Strom, Jean-Pierre “makes her predecessor look like a masterful communicator.”
